This site holds a complete, published proposal for how the British Isles could be governed without elected politicians. That is a large claim, and it deserves a marked path rather than a maze. Pick the depth that suits you — each tier stands on its own.
The idea in one paragraph: courts already trust twelve randomly chosen strangers with a person's liberty. DD&SA applies the same principle to public decisions — assemblies of residents, selected by civic lottery to mirror the whole community, who hear the evidence, question the experts, deliberate in public, and decide. No parties, no campaigns, no careers to protect. Every mechanism is published, and the system carries its own off-switch: residents can reverse any decision, or remove the architecture itself, using its own rules.
