National Online Assembly
The National Online Assembly is a planned UK‑wide DD&SA pilot that will bring together residents from across the country through a fully digital sortition process. It will allow people from different regions, backgrounds, and experiences to deliberate on national‑level issues in a structured, transparent, and evidence‑based environment.
This assembly will explore issues that affect the entire UK population, with a focus on fairness, long‑term thinking, and structural honesty.

50 residents, to be selected by national sortition, balanced across age, sex, region, socioeconomic background, and digital access needs.
Format
Fully online sessions using secure video platforms, digital evidence packs, and moderated breakout rooms for structured deliberation.
Outputs
A national recommendations report, a full evidence pack, and a set of options for UK‑wide public voting.
